Tekken 7 is getting a new season that according to Harada we were supposed to get sooner. Basically COVID still being a big deal has most of the developers working from home. As such there is a delay but now they have a better handle on it as Harada explains.
“With COVID-19 still at large, our dev team members have been working mostly from home. Working on Season 4 has been tough, but we’ve been able to optimize our work compared to what we had back in May and June.
The initial plan was to have [Season 4’s new moves and balance adjustments] fully accessible for everyone now, but you know — COVID-19. We are a few months behind, but we’ll do our best to get it to everyone as soon as possible” Harada
