Noblesse ep 1 What Me Be Protected/ Ordinary is out and we will be breaking it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled please stop now and go check out the anime over at Crunchyroll.com as well as the OVA. AGAIN SPOILERS AEAHD.
First in order to understand what is going on you must see the OVA. The anime follows it up so please check it out. Now with that said we get the opening of the anime which introduces us to Union military team. Union has these guys take out the military here easily in order to get the one scientist.
But the point to the viewer is this is who the Union will be sending to Japan and they will be the ones who Raziel and Frankenstein will have to deal with next. Which brings us to Japan as M21 is talking to are walking immortals and explaining to them what the Union. And to be honest we don’t get much of an explanation as M 12 says they are just focused on science that can make more of him and the other 2 Jack and Marie that Razeil and Frankenstein fought against.
Now with that said we don’t get to far but Frankenstein has an offer for M 12 to be secure. Now M21 scoluls at this but we see he does take the job in the end where we see Yuji arm is in a cast. We also see all the girls in the school like M 12 which I have to say just reminds me of saying from Dark Blood Brothers where one of the vampires says it is common for human to find vampires attractive.
Now as we see M21 gets into his role as security we also see Raziel continue to get fitted into this world. Remember he has been a sleep for about 800yrs plus so he has some catching up to do. Such as learning what a smart phone is.
Now we go to the next day and a street ganga pay a visit to the school. Basically they are here thanks Yuji who help there boss lady. Of course the group over power most people with M21 not getting involved. Even though he is security he is trying not to get involved as he doesn’t want the Union to find him. That doesn’t sit well with Raziel he basically stars him down until he takes action. Remember Raziel job is to protect people and given M21 jobs is secrutiy he will hold him to his job in protecting the students especially from human thugs.
M21 takes care of the matter with ease. Since we are talking about a big street punk versus a engineered super human how is made to take care of thing without showing mercy you can see why.
The matter is then brought up between M21and Frankenstein as he explains that he is supposed to be keeping a low profile or it might bring the fight with the Union to the school. Frankenstein though doesn’t see a conflict as he says just don’t kill anyone.
It might sound like the anime thing don’t kill but it is also a good way to avoid bring suspicion so long as they don’t go blabbing. But the next point is the biggest where as we see M21 ask to stay with Raziel and Frankenstein which Frank says that was the plan from the beginning. It makes sense as if M21 is attack it is better he is with them around.
This is a good thing as we see the Union strike force is here to look into M21 and Raziel. What will happen from there we will have to see. Let me know what you guys think.
