Dragon Ball Super Ch 65 preview and leaks have fans upset and as confused as I am with you I think I know where they are going with this. Now a quick reminder we have Moro in the recent chapter getting his hands on Merus power. Many are asking how and why?
Now with Merus we see him getting abilities of an angel. A power we have never seen flushed out before. The reason why we are seeing it here I believe is to show us the limit of Ultra Instinct. A question we have been asking since its introduction as it sound to OP(over powered for Goku to learn). Thus with Moro getting Merus power we see that the limit is that even though it gives you incredible power as you don’t waste a thing in using it but you cannot do more than what you could do before. Meaning that yes Goky can us ki and after images but he cannot stop Moro from fusing with the planet. Meaning he is bound to his physical limits and this is chapter is to show us that. It is meant entirely to get the most out of UI but that as well for lore.
Now as for Moro fusing with the planet itself I see an answer for that as well as we already saw it. Remember Vegeta. He can separate energies that people absorb. So he can separate Moro and possible get Merus out of him giving Goku the opening he needs to win. This would give Vegeta a big part in Moro defeat and a moment fans would like the saiyan prince of Earth to have. (Not the moment they want as they want him to take Moro out for good himself but it will do.)
Now this is my theory so we will have to see if it will happen. Let me know your thoughts though.
