Guilty Gear Strive Does Anji Confirmation Confirms Baikens?

Guilty Gear Strive last trailer confirmed Anji Mito will be the next character to get a trailer. With this confirmation many fans wondered if we will get to see Baiken then be possible confirmed next? We will talk about that as well as who Anji is.

First lets explain a few things. The reason why many think Anji will be a sign for Baiken is the same reason why they thought it would be vice versa in Xrd as one isn’t too far from the other with Anji usually hot on Baiken heels as he is madly in love with her.

But as we talk about Xrd we are reminded that didn’t happen. Instead of Anji being another character to add to the roaster he got treated the same way Zapp did and was mainly used for story.

With that being the case we might get that with Baiken as well here. But if that is the case then we might get more out of Anji as a playable character in the story as opposed to Baiken. Mainly because Baiken is a warrior who will gladly give her own life to get that man Asuka for making gears. The joke back then was either he was chasing her or knowledge in XX days.

But as we saw in Revelator that revenge might have been misplaced and Anji is holding out who it is. How he got this was probably due Asuka giving him the name when he decided to join him for however brief the period was.

Now lets say though we do get this in the game. It would be interesting to see Baiken beat the truth out of Anji and for him to tell who it is as why he didn’t must be on everyone’s mind. But with that said considering Asuka has turned himself in I am curious what else he showed Anaji. Hopefully we learn with Strive but let me know what you think as we await for more news on the game.
