Okay So in the last chapter we had Allen meet bump into General Cross who was watching Mana. Both sides of the war are watching Mana as they need the Earl to kick off the war telling by how this are being described. Allen doesn’t like but when he tells Mana about this he thinks he is talking about Nea and runs thinking that this is my brother I have to see him.
Now keep min mind Nea is dead at this point. As we know Mana killed him when they were younger. The reason why he can’t remember it is due to the fact that he has suppressed the memory hence why he doesn’t remember it. But to to him he has to find him and is in such a rush that he nearly gets run over.
After nearly getting hit Mana explains he hasn’t seen his brother in years and that Allen might have been talking about him. To mana he describes Nea as always being by side along with Tim. We don’t know who Tim is the chapter doesn’t reference it. But we do learn something about the Earl.
We learn Mana is running from the Earl. To Mana him and Nea are being chased by the Earl himself. And he describes what the Earl does as he turns people into Akuma/ monsters. Now we know Mana might have some idea that there is something dark inside of him as we learned with dog Allen was killed that he is trying to keep the anger inside of himself to stop him from changing. If he knew he would change into the Earl is unclear but it is something to take note of. This might be how he tells it to Allen granted but it also looks like he believes this.
But we then have Allen open up once more as he talks about not having anyone. Keep in mind this arc is designed to show how Allen changed from the problematic brat to the guy we know as he copies Mana mannerisms. It is meant to show us he got there and why he opened to him and this discussion on family is one of the reasons. After Allen doesn’t one. The circus looks after him but that is all as they don’t see him as really being apart of them. So to him he has no family. To that Mana says once you love something Allen you will love it no matter what and that day will come for you and he says this as the sun rises. They both bound on this moment showing Allen is opening up to Mana. That is the chapter as we await the next one.
