SNK is still quiet on The King Of Fighters XV as fans beg for info. With the lack of news i though we should talk about the chances of one of the old teams coming back which is the boss team.
The boss team to recap was Geese, Mr Big and Krauser. This if we do get it to come back will not be the same as before. This is due to how KOF XIV ended for team South Team as Mr. Big was trying to to kill Geese. Now that might not be cannon as SNK pics and choses which endings are legit. But for now lets say it is off the table who would this work.

What that means is that the Boss team would either be brought back by Geese or Big. Geese is more likely since SNK lens on Fatal Fury characters more than Art Of Fighting. So we will probably Geese, Krauser and one more.
Now Geese can make this a team with Krauser. But at the same time he doesn’t have to be in. At the SNK went with boss from Fatal Fury and Art Of fighting as they were the only ones alive. Now with Verse rest we have more options. Rugal is not one of them as he doesn’t play nice with anyone and if you have Krauser you don’t need him. But then who else.
Now Geese can make this a business decision. As he did with the outlaw team. Geese can make a deal with Nest maybe getting Zero or Krizlaid. Nest has the tech but Geese might have information they need on some ancient knowledge they need for an experiment.
Now we could get Krauser again with Gees convincing him to join him. Or even Krauser coming to him after hearing what he has learned from the scroll learning something about his. Remember Krauser dose have one.
But of course we might get an all new team using Krauser and he might even mix it with those from the past. They are all not sealed as we saw in XIII. Could he get them on his side he could have interesting team with Shroom and Botan. We might even get him bring in Mr. Big or even Kain. (Since we got Rock from Garou why not him as well.)
