SNK had announcement focused on The Last Blade but we might have gotten some The King Of Fighters XV news without knowing it. Let me explain during SNK announcement for Samurai Shodown season 3 Oda revealed it will be getting a new director. Hayato Konya will be the new director replacing Nobuyuki Kuroki.
So how does this effect KOF XV? Well when Nabil went over this he asked what happened to Kuroki and asked is he directing KOF XV? Again as many fans painfully know that we have very little information on KOF XV other than the logo. What that means is Kuroki could be working or he might have been working on it for awhile only now he is just working on one game instead of 2.
The way I see it is that Konya might have been brought on to work on SS season 3 so Kuroki can focus on KOF XV. Granted it could be that Kuroki might be just given the spot recently as again we do not know. It is a small bit of info but we will have to see.
