So company 8 needs new baptized weapons so Iris goes with Shinra to get it. The thing is for some reason Shinra sees as a date with Iris. Remember this is them getting weapon with a nun. We also see Iris has muscle as usual she does this alone. But there is a lot so she will need help.

Now there is a small issue. This is an episode that is just filler meaning the story doesn’t go forward in anyway. But it is still cool as we see that gossip about the Evangelist being the one who created the church are the same person. Keep in mind this is in terms finding out that the devil and god are the exact same person. It is troubling to say the least and we see that reflected in the sister prayers s she wonder if it is okay for to pray.

Now Iris is having some prayer issues as Shinra meets with one of the LTs from the 1st. He then hear word that even though it is under lock and key information that the Evangelist had a hand in the temple of Sol. This is mainly through gossip but the idea is gaining traction in the fire force. With that being the case Shinra asking Huo about it and he says that he has faith as he believes in the church now and not in the past.

So we go from that to Iris asking Shinra to help pray for her covent that her and Hibana were apart of. A little comedy as Iris has no idea how Hibana dressed up the shrine. But as they do this a priest becomes an infernal and although Shinra takes him out quickly it brings this subject back up. So iris ask Shinra what does he think.

Shinra reassures Iris that he will protect her and that although he doesn’t have faith in the church he does have faith in his friend. This then lead to Shinra not only crarying the equipment and Iris. We then shift to Assault who has been training since he face Iris and Tamaki.

His training is looking up adult videos (trying to keep this clean) to prepare him for Tamaki bad luck with clothing. The only thing Tamaki isn’t in control of that so really we see him try as he might he can’t do it . We even have Spirit from Soul Eater do a cameo in one seen but nothing works. So we end with them just facing each other constantly with no explanation on how he keeps getting a message into her locker and why she can’t answering it.
