Bad news for PlayStation 4 fans. Repairs for the model will end soon in Japan. The last day of repairs will be for December 25th. So basically if you PS4 needs repair do so before Christmas if you live in Japan.
“The Japanese press release noted that SIE had to end repairs for these early PlayStation 4 models because it is running out of spare parts needed to fix them. Even with the last orders made for these models through the Online Repair Reception Service and PlayStation Customer Support on December 25, 2020, the company will only deal with consoles that arrive at the PlayStation Clinic by January 8, 2021.”
