Guilty Gear Strive will not have crossplay on release. However it is something they are looking into implanting in the future.
“At this time, we’ve decided not to implement crossplay on release. We are, however, looking into implementing it in the future. I hope you can support the game as we work towards crossplay implementation.” Strive Director Akira Katano
Now to be clear they are noting that they are having problems getting it to work. So in order to get out on time they will have to shelve the idea of crossplay to get GGS out on time. But the the fact they are talking about this is nice and shows they are listening.
