Fire Force Season 2 Ep 20 Weapons Of Destruction is out and we will be breaking it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled please go check out this episode and previous ones over at Funimation and Crunchyroll.com. AGAIN SPOILER AHEAD.
Okay so Companies 8 and 2 are proceeding into the nether after the white clad to look for there lab. There are numerous groups with each one having one member of the 8th as a guide. Makes sense until you realize one of them is Arthur which is funny as in order to keep things going Shinra made a manual on how to work with him.
One of these groups also has Maki brother teaming with Hinawa. How he got the okay was probably through his dad but we don’t know. We do see he carries the same view that Hinawa tricked Maki to join the company. That isn’t the case but it is what he think. (Remember Maki joined the fire force as she didn’t want to hurt people but save them.) As such knowing that she is facing such people as the white clad all this time has Takigi and his father thinking she was tricked.)
Regardless they go and you must remember this place to them is forbidden by the temple. So many are fearing the worse down here except for Juggernaut since he wasn’t raised in the teaching the temple. But with that out of the way there are flaws with this plain as the 8th didn’t spend that much time in the nether so having them as guides doesn’t seem right.
But they can think about after dealing with the infernals. Now they are being manipulate Ritsu which also makes things a problem as they are suicide bombing and as they take a fire soldier down we see that person come under there control.
But this brings us to Juggernaut, Tamaki and Hajiki who is trying his best to stay focus with Tamaki losing clothing a real hard thing to do. But with the inferanls here we see him go int o action as an ace shoot. For his poor memory he is a great marksmen and takes out the infernals until Oriochi appears and beheads him.
With this we see that 3rd generations can take more punishment then 3rd gen. We see this as the whip of the Oriochi that she used to kill Hajiki is bouncing off of Tamaki. While it bounces it still causes pain. Tamaki is soon put down and is about to be killed until Juggernaut steps in to help seeing the girl he likes in trouble.
This is cool as we see not only the scaredy cat step up but we see his full ability as he can make fire constructs of various weapons. The only downside is that he is still not getting through to Oriochi as her whips make a perfect defense. Even here it is cool to see Juggernaut as the gag about him losing parts but not hurting him is used to show how serious things are as Oriochi is hitting body parts she is getting blood on her. So seeing him make. But if with that in mind Juggernaut will not stop and gives it his all to bring this woman down. Now will he survive it we have to see in the next episode.
