Mortal Kombat XI Ultimate is out and along with more characters we see you can make your own variations in other modes. This should be a quick win but the returning character Rain has a big issue as Hydro Boost doesn’t work to well.
“One of Rain’s options gives him the ability to use the Hydro Boost special. On paper, this looks like a really good combo extender when amplified. However, a glaring problem with the special has been discovered.
Normally, Rain should be able to use the amplified version of the Hydro Boost to cancel out the special’s recovery while still airborne. This would allow him to hit the juggled opponent with an air attack and then extend the juggle.
As shown in a clip posted by Tyson, this sequence only works correctly on the player 1 side. If this special is used while Rain is standing closer to the right-hand side corner than the opponent, then the second water geyser won’t connect.”
