“The Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizunaanimefilm has earned 124.40 million yuan (about 1.96 billion yen or US$18.97 million) after four weeks at the Chinese box office as this year’s highest-earning Japanese film in China. The film’s Chinese box office total is about seven to 10 times its Japanese box office total of 200-300 million yen (US$2-3 million). The film topped the 48.55 million yuan (about 768 million yen or US$7.4 million) earnings of the Violet Evergarden I: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll film, which opened in China in January.”
