Final Fantasy XIV is getting a big update with 5.4. And I biggest as Square Enix admit it is the biggest update they have done for long.
“For reference, the total number of VFX used for battle gimmicks for an expansion is around 1,000. That means there are around 1,000 types of sounds for battle gimmicks, for example. However, this time it isn’t an expansion and despite the usual updates the sound team is making around 600 sounds only related to battle gimmicks.”
