Marvel’s Avengers Still Hasn’t Got Its Money Back

Marvel’s Avengers isn’t doing well. As proof of this Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have yet to make there money back from that. Meaning they have yet to start earning a profit as the coast for making the game have yet to be paid off.

Square Enix – reported Yen6.5bn loss for HD Games driven by Marvel Avengers, would not say how many sold but that volumes were 60% of plan. Implies game cost over $100m to make but only sold 3m or so. Ouch
