As we look ahead towards Street Fighter VI and what it will bring fans are suggesting things to make it interesting. One aspect according to Eventhubs.net is that Ryu needs more story than just the dark hadou.
For a few games now Ryu has been battling the dark hadou since it was introduced to him in Alpha. It was not mentioned in SF3 but SF4 brought back with SFV seemingly having Ryu master it to a degree. I say degree as we see it manifest in the form of Kage showing doesn’t have a complete handle on it.
Yet with SF now going into SF3 story line we might get something new from Ryu. Especially considering Ryu in SF3 story seems not to mention it. Yet it has become a defining thing for Ryu as it gives him something to struggle with and over come. So if he doesn’t have dark hadou what does he have?
In SFV we get Ryu turning the dark hadou into the power of nothingness. But we don’t know what will come from this other than being able to control your that you can command what you chi will hurt and what it will not. Also the ability to cancel out madness such is why it was effective against Bison.
But we will have to see what happens as we await to see what happens with SFVI. Let me know what you think.
