So we start the episode with Jumpie as we see him talking to his friends only to see him once again get bullied. Basically the idea is yes he is bullied none stop as remember they also went to the same theater. The idea he is being pushed down the dark path as society just seems to have it out for him or in most cases don’t realize the pain he is in. So then we get Mahito and he is listening to Jumpie as he talks about how Japan doesn’t use the word love too much but instead foundness.

But as they talk we get word play as they go from fondness to indifference to hate. He focuses on hate as Mahito is trying to get in Jumpei head which is difficult as he isn’t trying to jeep him out. The way Mahito says it if you hate them then kill them as you have my permission. As to why he needs his permission it isn’t that Jumpie needs it. What Mahito is doing is letting Jumpei know that it is okay to kill them if you want. In a way moral support. Something to remember when one of his teachers shows up.

Now the teacher upsets Jumpei by calling the bullies who died his friends. These are guys who have tormented him when evet they cross paths are being considered friends to him by a teacher who remember he somewhat so him being bullied. So as he thinks back to what Mahito said he about to do something when we have Yuji come in with a low level curse.

Now this was in a way planned. originally Yuji was supposed to catch the curse and depending upon if Jumpie say it he would either ask him quest ions or apologize. Apologize if he didn’t see it and thus he was bothering him but if he did see it they would need to see how he reacted as it would prove if he had curse power or not.

Now i said was planned as the curse got away before they were ready and in order to talk to Jumpei Yuji had to yank down the teacher pants and run off only to run around the corner once he lost him in a second. Basically the comedy portion of the episode folks. Now this short as we got to Mahito who is facing off with Kento.

Now this is cool and is meant to show us how dangerous Mahito is as all he needs is to touch you to change you as we have seen in past episode. As also see that Kento can make weakness or critical points. The issue here is that he has to be close to do that which puts him in Mahito range and as we see Mahito is not an easy opponent to deal with.

Plus we see Mahito has been changing people into all sorts of awful things and that he can use them as weapons. With that fact that he already has touched Kento once all he needs to do is touch 2 more times with his curse energy. This makes the fight just that much tougher for Kento. Even if he gets more room we see that he better not lost track of Mahito. But how will continue to take him on. Simple he will get serious as he heads into over time. Taking off his tie we see his curse energy rise and as many anime fans know it only means the fight is about to get serious.

Now i did skip one thing and that was Yuji learning about how jujutsu sorcerers rank against curses. The ranks system cam up as Yuji was wondering if he can take Jumpei on. Kioytaka explains that when it is sorcerers face off they do so facing off one rank higher then the enemy. Now that is if they can as they first have to asses and then get the right level which given there number and situation might not always happen. I bring this up as we wonder how this match between Mahito and Kento will go as we have a special grade versus 1sr rate. So it isn’t ideal but that is the situation and fans can’t wait to see it goes.
