NeoGeo Now has posted a new video talking about about Yasuyuki Oda latest interview. This Nabil focuses on the part about SNK still continuing to puts its IPs into other media. Besides the mobile game and manga market which we have see this also includes anime and live action.
The anime part is the most exciting as it seems we be getting a new Fatal Fury as Oda mentions that they would like to make a new one. To SNK faithful that is exciting as many remember that FF anime trilogy to be there first experience with SNK. Also the one behind the 3 films says he would like to do another.
The part that worries me is the live action. The live action has us trying to find actors who can bring these characters to life. For most that can work but then you get into hard ones such as Rugal who the actor must sell the character in both performance in action as well as make him believable and I don’t see it. I could be wrong but I don’t see it.
