Demon Slayer Actor Says There Pay Will Not Change No Matter How Much The Anime Earns

Demon Slayer is doing well as it is one of the greatest animes out there with fans itching to see a 2nd season. The thing you might not know is that while it is earnings are growing the show actors seem to not get more. The actor for Sakonji Urokodaki said there pay will not change no matter how much it earns.

“voice actors are locked in at a fixed pay rate before they even start recording a show. Each actor’s pay is based on their seniority in the field, popularity, experience, and more. The actor stressed this agreed salary stays the same no matter how popular and anime becomes. And if you thought royalties would trickle down to the actors, well – you would be wrong.” Hochu Otsuka

Now to be clear income may not be good now but according to Otsuka the show growth in popularity will lead to them getting more exposure which will offer more jobs that will pay better. In other words the thing all actors want n a role and show.
