We were waiting for news on The King Of Fighters XV yesterday but was postponed. As SNK fans were reacting to that we then got news of The King Of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition for the PS4. This upsets people and makes us ask a few questions regarding what is going on here.
First lets talk about why this has people scratching there heads as many thought that due to Japan going back into lock down due to COVID cases spiking again was the reason why the reveal trailer for KOF XV and Samurai shodown season 3 were postponed. Again we don’t know why it was delayed yet. But that very idea gets thrown out the window as later on that night for many of us we learn of this last version of the KOF XIV.
This makes you ask the question what is going at SNK even more. Especially when you look at the trailer. The trailer seems themed that this is meant to hold us off while we wait for KOF XV. I am saying as not only does it say that in the trailer but we see KOF XV art work as the this version of KOF XIV has a PS4 them for KOF XV Kyo. It is not XIV as there is a bandana and it is not Oriochi saga as his arm is completely covered which that version of Kyo has the sleeves rolled up.
This makes me think 2 things. 1 does this mean that KOF XV will be cross generation as many of us believed? Is this proof of that? 2 if this was with holding us off while we wait for KOF XV does this mean it was meant to be part of a big news segment. In other words this was part of what they were supposed to show? If that is the case then why are we only getting that. Why not just show us the trailers.
At this moment we still do not know as fans are still asking what happened and what is going on. Again hopefully we get an answer from SNK soon about this and with it we get the trailers. But let me know what you think about
