Bloody Roar might getting a reboot if all the rumors are true. As we hope that comes to be I have been asking questions about the series. This time I want to ask what you guys think about them expanding on the uborns?
The Uborn is a sensitive topice. On one hand you have people who love Xion but on the other many see the Unborn as being one of the things that ruined the series. The Unborn is a demonic entity that came into are world but was sealed. It was released in Bloody Roar 3 and took over Xion making him think if he released them he would bring back his sister. The Unborn was stopped but it came back in Bloody Roar 4.
The reason many fans hate as it did progress the story. All we got out of it was Xion. I am not counting Nagi as she is meant to copy Xion as Gai response yet Gai had a dragoon that was more than capable of stopping him. Again no progress if you think about. But if handled correctly it could lead to some good story.
The Unborn if done right can be a source for trouble as it has created powerful character and can lead to unleashing power with the hyper beast form which was introduced in the same game. As such we can get characters from this that could be interesting. From those who are possessed or tricked like Xion to those who thought the can control the power and discover or create something worse. Either way we can get more out of this super natural enemy to the cast if they are behind the scenes or the primary force done well.
Also with expanding on this point we will also expand on other Unborns. Right now Xion and his metal insect look is all we got with Nagi copying the look. With the Unborn being unworldly we can get a great way to bring in creatures that look animal human hybrid type like the rest of the cast but since it is from another world have other features that will make it look out of place. For instance lets say we have an unborn lion. They can have a metallic skin as well as a flaming main. A tiger can have glowing stripes with energy surging around it. Basically it is looks like it is from this world but isn’t.
But those are my thoughts on why we should get more than one unborn character and expand on them. Let me know yours as we hope to see the series come back.
