Guilty Gear Strive news was released today talking about single player content. This includes Survival, Training, Mission and Arcade mode. Lets take a look at them as we break down the info.
Tutorial is as you think it should help break people into the game. I am saying should as it is unknown how good this is until you actual see how players do with this as companies promise they are good all the time. As for is it really good we will have to see.
Now lets talks about arcade mode as they are talking about interesting things here. The arcade mode will have branching paths and if that sounds familiar it should Blazblue Central fiction had this in arcade mode and then story when it came out on consoles.
Now this might let some people down as that means we will not have this in story mode as we have been asking which also means story mode will be the same as in the last Xrd games. But this can also work.
With this we can have are cake and eat it to as we can have the branching paths and crazy face offs we wanted from the XX days. Granted we still need to see if this will be with special intros or not like back then but still is good news. With that being the case the one down side which was which path is the real story can be answered with the story mode being the true telling of real events.
This lead us to survival mode which will have special characters such as boss characters and more. We see this as we have a shadow version of Sol facing off with Ky. Shadow version or black version have full tension at all times and is one of the version fans were asking for and it makes you want to ask. Will we see ex characters and Gold characters. And if we do will they be playable?
We also have training mode which was will allow you to bust out combos and practice. Now that is not all as we see 2 new stages as well or 1 as it is hard to see. But if we learn more about this I will let you know.
