“The collaboration initially started as a way to celebrate the release of the fourth Rebuild of Evangelion movie, Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, in Japan. The concept was billed as a top-secret “data supplementation project” for the limited edition portable HDD and portable SSD.
The shock-resistant portable 1TB HDD (USB 3.2 Gen1 support)’s color and design are based on NERV headquarters’ appearance in the new movie. The design of the HDD will show up as an icon when you check the drive on your Windows PC.”
