Fans are itching to her more on Bayonetta 3 as we have not heard anything big since the teaser went live. What we have been given are short statements given by Hideki Kamiya that the game is moving along smoothly. In one of these statements he comments on the teaser saying there is more in that trailer then we think.
“Most announcements regarding Bayonetta 3 center around the fact that it is still in development. In May of 2020, Kamiya responded to a question about whether or not he was “bored” of being asked about the game’s potential cancellation by saying that people who have those sort of concerns should, “…throw them out the window immediately because we’re still hard at work on it and it hasn’t been cancelled by any means.” Kamiya additionally told Famitsu that development was “progressing smoothly.” In terms of what fans can expect from the game, Kamiya explained that there is a lot of information hidden in the game’s teaser trailer. We also know that the design process for Bayonetta 3 has been different than the process used for the first two games.”
It is hard to see what many have missed in the trailer considering we only see Bayonetta facing a battle looking like she was in the first game and seemingly losing. Not only that but we have the game having a different development process then the last 2 games. Hopefully we do get some information about the game this year but we will see.
