SNK posted Meitenkun trailer for The King Of Fighters XV and fans can’t get enough now that everyone has seen it we will be going over it to see what we can take from it. For those who have not see it yet here.
Let get it the obvious thing out of the way first and say this is a big improvement over the last trailer. Not thanks to SNK going easy on the jump cuts but also it seems to be more polished then the last. Thus why many see Meitenkun looking better then Shun.
Aside from the sleepy getting a new intro we also see he is fighting his training partner on a new stage. Many believe this stage will be the stage of team China at the moment and to be honest I agree. It is them or Psycho Soldier. We also see the yellow aura arounds his special moved for his Chi has been switched out with a blue and purple one. As for moves we see most of the moves shown in the trailer are the same from XIV. Something that is easily shown in the video Here. We also see how different he looks thanks to SNK switching up to unreal.
The 2 big changes that are noticed by fans so far is the one move that is an ex. Many are noticing it as we are seeing it outside of Max Mode. Something fans have been asking for. We also see Meitenkun has a new level 3. Some are comparing it to Geese suggesting it is his own deadly rave. Me honestly as someone who watches Kung Fu that we are seeing classic attack her strung together. But with the last attack being the same as deadly rave it is hard to say if this is Meienkun own version of Howard famous assault or something else.
But that is not all the trailer is telling us. It seems that SNK will be given a trailer every week going through teams. Makes sense as SNK did that for XIV but you each team had there own trailer not one per character. What this means is the next trailer will most likely be for the 3rd member of team China and then probably team Japan or what ever team Kyo is on. So who do you think it will? Tung again being the anchor to these 2 as the wisdom to round out talent and raw power or will we have someone new? Let me know while we wait for the next trailer to drop.
