Why An Interview With Hiroki Kikuta And Matsuzo Machida About The Future Of Shadow Hears Would Be A Good And Bad Idea

Shadow Hearts are waiting for news on Matsuzo Machida spiritual successor and as we wait new ideas come forward as both fans and Machida himself keep hope alive. Well a fan had a thought about interviewing both Hiroki Kikuta and Matsuzo Machida on the future of Shadow Hearts. You know what there plans would be for the franchise going forward. This is good and bad and I think we should talk about why.

First lets talk about positive. We always want to hear more about Shadow Hearts. Heck the reason why we are hoping for the series to come back isn’t due to all the remakes we are seeing but Machida saying he would like to return to it some day. So of course it would be nice to learn what future they would have planned beyond the prequel game.

Now if you have not heard about this the 3rd game in the series was meant to be prequel with Yuri and Kurando fathers as part of the main group. As to who else would have made it we don’t know as we got very few details on these 2. But that alone got fans minds going as to what the game would be let alone what else.

While yes Shadow Hearts does take place on this earth it does so with a dark magic twist. A twist that would make interesting to see how the world would go forward. Will it be keeping things quite such as no one but people in the know knowing about Radiance being responsible for the Shanghai fires. Or would they start taking super natural incidents as fact and part of there world history.

I say that as the world as it was in Shadow Hearts From the new World always seemed not right with things be as they were according to history as though the prior events never happened. But we must keep in mind this is the positive stuff we would be getting from the interview. You see I can see one down side with this happening and it is an obvious one. It would cause demand to grow. A demand which has nothing to satisfy it at this time.

Again the first interview we had with Machida in a long while talking about he would love to return to the series is what got us hoping for a new game or them to bring the games back. Even now we have demand for a remaster or remake let alone a brand new installment. As such you can imagine how a new interview might be perceived. I mean hearing developers even mention a series and people think a new installment is coming. So a new interview with them might betaken the same way.

Again I would love this and I would like it if it does lead to a new spin off or installment for Shadow Hearts and Koudelka series. But if it is just an interview we have to keep in mind what it might lead too. But those are my thoughts. Let me know yours as we await to for Shadow Hearts to come back in one form or another.
