Seven Deadly Sins Dragon’s Judgement Ep 4 The Holy War Victims is out and we will be breaking it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled please stop now and go check out the episode as well as previous episode. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
In the last episode we saw Escanor break through Zeldirs omnius Nebula to get a critical hit. With him Cusack and Chandler. Now with have the teachers taking over where the student left off. Thus we have Cusack vs luodecil and Chandler vs Merlin since Escanor sun has been black out and he is normal again.
Now a quick reminder this will not be easy given we are dealing with 2 demons who can easily make up for the ten commandments in power. So it says something that Ludociel and Merlin can hold them off. The problem comes when Ludociel starts reaching his limit with Magaret body. Keep in mind she doesn’t really have magic of her own so this all angelic grace but since they don’t have body the angles are limited when using it. But that combined with the face that Merlin can’t really take Chandler down shows just how much of an up hill battle this is.
Now it is up hill until Merlin realizes a way to stop them by using wind to restrict Cusack movements and lightning when ever Chandler tries to cast something. This leaves the 2 most powerful demons besides the demon king unable to do anything. So Cusack then tries to take over Merlin mind which doesn’t go so well. This is not due to Merlin power but what she is as you have remember she is immune to angelic bewitching and demonic curses. So this wasn’t going to work. The thing is though with this we get to focus of this episode. We get to the truth.
You see the spell that was casted by the original Gowther is becoming undone. As such everyone is remembering the fate of Mael and that he is not dead. In order to end the holy war Gowther the original not the puppet we know from the sins manipulated everyone’s memories from the low cast angles and demons to the demon king and probably supreme deity. I am saying probably because you know we don’t see her anywhere. But if it worked on Demon King it probably worked on her.
Now we do not know why it is becoming undone but what we do see is everyone who knows Mael or Estarossa from the past is in pain from there memories. The Demon King isn’t but at the same time he care for no one. Meaning no care no pain I guess.
But if you listen to it we were told that there was something off with Estarossa from Moustep. The same thing is repeated by Meliodas as we talks with his father. He says his brother couldn’t use dark magic no matter how much he tried until his father gave him a commandment some of the devil king own power to do so. Now we have seen all demons be able to use darkness in some way before regardless of position. So why couldn’t he. It is due to the fact he isn’t one.
Now this you can understand make things worse for King. Who was wondering what was happening with Estarossa but now must deal with someone who is just angry at everything. Thus we are lead to ask one thing. What is Gowther planning to do as Mael now remembering who he is continues his rampage. A rampage we will see in the next episode. but let me know your thoughts.
