Oswald was supposed to be in The King of Fighters XIII is something that was posted on reddit. According to the piece Oswald was supposed to be on Iori team but was cut out when Mature was added in XII with a Kimono girl. Given how KOF XIII was hard to maintain I am now surprised by this info. Also it makes sense how SNK does KOF for Oswald to have been there.
If you do not know what I am talking about when new characters are introduced in an arc usually they are in there until after the dream match so long as they are alive. As such as why Vice and Mature were in 96 and 98 but not 97. But as you will read there is a lot more to this guys history. Check it out.
