Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan was shown off today during the festival focused on her series. Here we got to see gameplay that made anime fans happy since in order to bring Tanjiro and the others to videogames consoles Cyebrconnect2 went with gameplay similar to there ninja storm series which did a great job bring the anime to life.
If you never played any of the ninja storm games Cyberconnect2 approach to style which is similar how Arc system works approached Dragon Ball for Dragon Ball Fighters and gameplay allowed fans to dive right into Naruto world playing through as close as possible to the anime with a 3v3 system with cinematic finishers from the show with some new stuff for the game that was never touched on in either the anime or manga. An example of this would be playing as itchi friend who he killed to unlock the Sharigun power and seeing his susanoo.
The gameplay is still early but seeing Tanjiro go through his water style breathing in his attacks as well as his head but along with Zamitsu thunder clap attack has fans hyped to see what they will do with the full game. Everyone is thinking this will follow season 1 events and probably even the train. But with that said since this cyberconnect2 so expect the game to have some new scenes.
