The Numbers for Final Fantasy Type 0 HD came in and things are not looking so good. The PSP port for PS4 and Xbox One even with the Final Fantasy XV demo Episode Duscae. Only 53.3 percent of the shipments were sold which is 93,000 copies. For comparison the PSP version sold 472,253 copies which is 79.0 percent of the shipments.
I bring this up because just recently Hajime was talking about making this a series and we got to see a little bit of that as the HD version came with a special video showing a character named Ace getting some magic armor. Also we got to see artwork as well at a Hong Kong event. taking the information above into play it is hard to say if we will get to see type 1 but you never know. Square Enix might give it another chance since people did like it to some degree. It just next time release to everyone at the same time on the same platform might be a good idea.
