Both Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Blazblue Central Fiction are shaking up their story and arcade modes by merging them. Now both have described combining the story mode and it make you wonder will they be different or the same. Well it seem they will be different by being the same.
Through some nice face we are able to see some arcade runs of BBCF but it doesn’t seem that different then the last time except for side panels as the two fighters talk to each other. The only one I saw interact with each other physically was Naoto and Rachel as he approached her. It is only the first act granted and only four have surfaced through Naoto, Rachel, Terumi and Relius but it might be insightful as the rout they go.
GGXRD only has one episode mode run with Leo ending wit him facing a boss ex version of Johnny but between that and the small flash of it we saw before it is clear this is returning to original routs as of before with Sign as story mode was more of a movie where you didn’t play through it at all with most character interaction was opening and ending poses dialogue.
Just incase you missed my post you can check out the videos below to compare for yourselves. Now I can be wrong and what we seen as it is only a taste of what the game will be like. If that is the case then you can say that is how the games are now before being completed.
