Samurai Shodown is at Pax East 2019 with a brand new trailer showing of more characters as well as more footage on old ones. As of the moment if you are going to Pax there will be a demo there. As for the overall game we know there will be 3 modes with online, Dojo and story. Story is arcade mode just adding a little intro and text to the game.
The game it self has the funny Capcom story line goin for it as it takes place after the fifth game but before the first one. (Sounds like a reboot to me.) As for characters we have Charlotte, Earthquake, Galford, Haohmaru, Jubei Yagyu, Nakoruru, Tam Tam, and Ukyo Tachibana are all among the 13 confirmed returning characters, and three new characters will bring the roster up to 16 combatants in the main game. However, additional DLC fighters will appear.
