Good news for Breath Of Fire fans as BOF customs are coming to Street Fighter V Arcade Edition. Falk will be able to transform into Katt one of the characters from Breath Of Fire 2. Now for those wondering how this is good news mostly when Capcom does this it means we might see something from the series.
Maybe a remaster or something new. With Capcom talking about revisiting old titles you never know and that RE7 engine would do well for JRPG. That is the hope for fans but that is not all.
“From May 10 to June 7 in Extra Battle Mode, Capcom is teaming up these two heroines for a crossover costume featuring the beloved role-playing classic originally published in 1994,” Capcom Unity writes. “Both Falke and Katt expertly wield staves in battle, and both know guys named Ryu (different dudes) – what match could be more perfect?”During that four week period, players will be able to complete four missions (one each week) in order to unlock the full Katt costume. Each attempt will run you 2,500 Fight Money, so you can grab the costume for 10,000 FM total — if you beat each mission on the first try.
Additionally, the free trial of Street Fighter 5 will start on April 23 at 1 p.m. PST (download begins at 9 a.m. PST) / April 24 at 12 a.m. UTC and will run through May 5 PST / May 6 at 5 p.m. UTC. There will be various modes available with this trial, and it will be live for both PlayStation 4 and PC users”
