We will be speculating on Kingdom Hearts 4 and in order to so we will be looking at Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind DLC secrete episode. So there will be spoilers if you do not want to be spoiled then stop now. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
The episode has Sora and Rex meeting with them soon fighting. Sora loses and is sealed. The interesting part about this how it ends with the big from the last trailer talking about the DLC. Both Sora and Rex talking having strange dream lately. The difference is when the episode ends we get to see that Rex is in a car similar to how Notice was in one of the early trailers for Final Fantasy XIII Versus.
Now Rex has been seen as Nomura putting what he can from what Versus would be into Vernum Rex. So much so that everyone caught a hint of it when they saw that footage.
But how does this tie into Kh4. Well We knew that Nomura was going to do something with this. Not only from the fact he still feels the need to make this game he envisioned for Versus. But he also shows that he will be doing it through Kingdom Hearts and most likely with the next one.
Now it is hard to say how this is going to tie in as with Nomura you never know until he unveils the whole picture to you. So as much as the secrete episode points to Rex saving Sora from something. It might not be the whole truth. There might be much more to it or it could be a way of passing the torch as we enter a new saga Nomura might be gearing up for a new protagonist.
