Noblesse Ep 8 Frankenstein/ First Contact is out and now we will breaking down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled stop now and go check out Crunchyroll.com to see this and past episodes from the series. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
Okay so in the last episode we learned that Regis and Serai have not been sending anymore messages back home since finding out Raziel was the Noblesse they were looking into. Gejutle has then been sent to find out why 2 nobles are allowing modified humans to live. To that extent we see Frankenstein appear and learn that these 2 have a history.
Gejutle is informed by Frankenstein about the current state of things while Gejutle tells Raizel and Frankenstein that Raziel is seen as the enemy to the nobles due to the fact he put the lord into a deep sleep. The deep sleep which is a comma is according to Gejutle the closest thing nobles can come to a natural death in a way. But due to the lord going into slumber his daughter takes over and younger clan leaders step up such as Seria.
Now Erga the lord daughter explains that for putting the lord to sleep Raziel has made himself the nobles enemy but we are not to clear on how that happened. Keep in mind in the flash back episodes before the series launched we saw these same lords plot to bring him down so it is hard to say what exactly is going on but Gejutle ask for Frankenstein and Raziel to come back with him. He only ask them to come back with him as to if it is to prove Raziel innocents it is hard to say. But as Frankenstein brings him the newest guest to his room we are then sent into the past as we learn that back in the day Frankenstein was a noble killer.
The whole segment is meant to show us Frankenstein and just give us a taste as to his real power. That power we see is strong enough to rival Nobles. But how he got that is unclear. But the lord wants to talk to him. Of course after he tries to get Raziel to live with him so he can have some company. Tries as Raziel politely says no.
With the nobles now looking to bring the noble killer in thing get interesting as they fight him. They cannot handle him in a simple fight he has an answer for everything the have. From abilities to soul weapons. But this awesome power which Frankenstein is using as a way to get back at nobles as he knows some who hunt humans (who they are we don’t know since he doesn’t give names) is not stable as he begins to lose control.
He lost control but Frankenstein got away. In his run for his life he finds Raizel mansion. How this meeting goes between the noblesse and the noble hunter is something we will have to wait and see next episode.
