“However, there is one barrier that immediately keeps you from playing as Zangetsu right away. First, you have to completely beat Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night as Miriam and earn the good ending. To get that, you have to attack the red moon during the Gebel boss fight at the end of the game. Miriam then has to use Zangetsuto to strike the moon again at Garden of Silence. This will give you an access to a new area with new bosses to defeat. After defeating the three of them, you get to see the true ending.”
Zangetsu Mode makes allows you to play as the character changing attributes of your weapon as well as having the ability of double jump. However as Zangetsu you should know you will not be able to use the abilities or interact with others the same way the main does.
