Dragon Ball Super Ch 71 The Heeters Plan is out now and we will break it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want be spoiled then stop now and go check out the images over at Viz Media or Shonen Jump. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
We start off with Goku and Whis the same way the preview showed us with Whis showing Goku the difference between them. With a small demonstration with his staff Whis shows he is in ultra instinct mode all the time. Something we learned a few chapters back but remember that was a conversation between Vegeta and Beerus and Goku it seems didn’t hear it. Now Whis says that Goku next step in master ultra instinct should be to learn how to use it without the transformation so it won’t fatigued him so much.
This is a flash back to me of the Cell games where Goku had him and Gohan stay in Super Saiyna form so it won’t be so much for them to transform. This is a little a different as Goku has to learn to use a power without the transformation fans are expecting to see when checking anything after Dragon Ball thanks to the Freeza saga.
It as at this point Whis decides to explain to mention Granola. Mention is the thing as he says something has happened saying they might not have time to train. Yet he doesn’t go into detail about the person. We see why as it would ruin the plot since the whole thing comes to down to the Heeters putting them against each other. But
Now we switch to Granola who went back to Cereal to keep an eye on things. You can’t blame since he knows who he is dealing with and not to trust them. This only last a sec as we see the heeters put there plan into action. More to it Oil and Macki are sent out to get things started. But that isn’t what is the big thing.
The big thing to me is the exchange between the leader and Gas. As we learn how they will get Goku and Vegeta to face Granola we hear this quick talk about Gas is power since he is the big fighter for the family. They say he is as strong or stronger than Freeza. I am hoping this is a translation error. I say that as the whole point for them getting 73 was to get more power to take down Freeza so they can take his army. And that was before he had the gold form.
Now we see something interesting as Oil and Macki go out to get the plan going and it is comical as they have to jump through hops just to get some intel much like Bulma did from Lord Zuno. It is nice to see bad guys who aren’t just one side all the time. But then we see Goku and Vegeta making some headway with there training. Well for the most part as Oil and Macki go to talk to Chichi.
Now the funny thing is that they talking about needing help and saying Granola is the strongest in the universe. But the thing is Oil and Macki mention money and Chichi is all ready to tell Goku to get to work. Goku and Vegeta on the other hand are ready to put there training to use as well as represent Whis and Beerus. I guess they want bragging rights.
So with Goku and Vegeta with the dragon radar Oil and Macki return with telling Granola that Freeza is sending assassins from his army who are saiyans. Now it might be hard to take in but remember one Granola still has rage for saiyans as well as Freeza. The only thing is that I guess he thought they were gone so he thought only Freeza was left. You might say he should still question it but keep in mind Vegeta still wears the freeza army uniform only with out a logo. So you can understand why he will take this even if he has doubts on the heeters. So how will this 3 way go? We will have to wait for the next chapter to see.
