Demon Slayer news as we have some promising number for Demon Slayer Mugen Train. The movie is now that highest grossing anime in US Box office history. By hitting just under 44 million dollars Tanjiro over threw Ash and The Pokemon 2000 movie. But while Tanjiro shows that he is on his way to the top he still has to over come the 1st Pokemon movie which did 86 million dollars in 1996.
“As of May 21, 2021, the Demon Slayer movie has grossed just under 44 million dollars at the US box office. Tanjiro Kamado and the gang knocked Pokemon: The Movie 2000 out of the second spot, taking its place. However, the film still has a ways to go before it can catch up to 1999’s Pokemon: The First Movie. That animated feature sits comfortably in the number one spot of highest-grossing anime films in the US at a little under 86 million dollars.
Additionally, the Demon Slayer movie is the highest-grossing anime film of all time both in Japan and worldwide. In Japan, it has earned just shy of 40 billion yen (approximately 367 million dollars) while the worldwide figure is a total of 477 million dollars.”
