Toonami has become a go to for people in the US to see the latest anime on there TV. Well the creators of Toonami had another idea it seems as they wanted to make a Metal Gear Solid Anime. DeMarco one of the co creators retells the pitch they tried to give to Kojima only to have it not happen.
With A Metal Gear Solid movie trying to be brought into conception much lest be made into a movie one can only imagine how an anime based on the spy series would work out. Given how there is interest in Konami titles after the success that is Castlevania there is a chance it can happen sadly though just not here.
