With rumors about Dragon Ball Super Season 2 supposedly being announced this year you would think the fandom would be overjoyed since they have been waiting for so long. For some that is the case. For others not so much.
With the idea of a season 2 many seeing the current trends with Shonen anime, and they do not want it for DBS 2nd season. This can be us seeing more movie adaptations rather than manga arcs as we have seen with the first season and Demon Slayer season 2. Both of them adaptation the movies into arcs for the show. DBS doing it twice.
Other are concerned with animation. Fans loves the animation for DBS Broly as to some it was perfect. Hence why we are seeing it with One Piece and Lupin the 3rd. But with some they are concerned the new style that being used for the movie Dragon Bal Super Super Hero will be used for the series return.
Now that doesn’t mean people are not happy with the idea. There are people still itching to get more cannon Dragon Ball Super anime as opposed to Hero which has been filling in the gaps. It is just with some of the current trend’s fans are cautious. For me I don’t think they will use the movie style for the main series. I think that is just to separate it from the main the style Toei might use for DBS return. But we have to see what is going to be sure. You can see some tweets on this thanks to Comicbook.com
