Resistance fall of man was a shooing series for the PS3. This took world war shooters and turned it on its head by making the big enemy aliens that nearly wiped us out. Well we have been asking for a new entry but it got push aside for the last of us. Well it seems though there was an idea for another game you might not have heard of.
The director of Days gone pitched making Resistance an open world. Director Jeff Ross thought a good idea to the WWII shooter would be to make it open world. According to an interview in 2019 when Ross was asked what game they wanted to revive. His answer was Resistance.
“The pitch I was making was [an] open world Resistance [and] would be f*cking rad. We have all these open world loops that we figured out and it almost wrote itself with Resistance. There were so many aspects of that property that kind of lent itself to open world gameplay.” Jeff
Since we have not heard anything it is clear that wasn’t received well. Hopefully though the series does get a new entry as there are fans who would love to see get brought back. That includes me.
