Adi Shankar Talks About the Future of Videogame Adaptations

Adi Shankar is the one who brought the Castlevanai the animation to life. He is not aiming to look to bring the same success to Fary Cray s Blood Dragon and Devil May Cry. He was asked about it over all as many aim to repeat his success with videogames in other medias. This is Adi on what he sees is the future of adapting anime.

“When Castlevania came out in 2017, it was a complete anomaly. Like this was something that just came out of left field. No one really knew what this was or how it was gonna do, it just kinda became a sleeper hit. I saw the writing on the wall. I was like ‘okay, this is now gonna become a business model for people.’ It’s great. This is gonna be an anomaly for like a nanosecond and now this is gonna become this business model of taking video games and turning them into like animated series for the streaming platforms” Adi

Videogame can be filled with same greatness in story telling as with some of the best comics. Sources of Medium the entertainment industry has been tapping into for some time now with comics being newest crazy as people try to make videogame series work. Figuring out how to tell that story though so that it works without gameplay or being a game is something fans hope to see as we watch are favorite game series become are favorite shows. Lets, Hope after Adi that others producers, companies and so on do the videogame they are adapting justice.
