Dragon Ball Super Super Hero has been a successful movie for the DBS series. Since global release we have only seen great things for it as it beats out Pokémon the movie mewtwo strikes back and gets no.1 worldwide. But for all the praise in the movie there is one downside.
Cell Max is the terrifying force that is revealed towards the end of the movie. Powerful trump card for Red Ribbon army and it would put Gohan against the DBZ enemy who pushed to new levels the last time they faced off. The thing is this version of Cell is incomplete. As such we don’t have the intelligence that made him stand out.
In the cell saga the z fighter were trying to get stronger to stop 18 and 17 before they get to Goku. But soon a new threat emerges with Cell. Not only is he powerful but cunning as he wipes out towns and hides himself. Even in base form he shows smarts that we have not seen from an enemy in a while. The evolution only had that shown even more. Once we got to perfect well it was similar to Freeza in the fact we have associated Cell with this elegant version of himself. The very thing Cell Max is missing.
Cell Max not being finished leaves a berserk more less. Out to destroy everything in sight with very few who can stop him. One can argue he is more Broly here then Cell. A shame as Cell probably would a been a good villain for both Piccolo and Gohan as he would have egged them on and push them as the characters we know. Not the monster we got.
Cell has been demand for a bit since Freeza got brought back. WITH DBSSH being confirmed to be Gohan and Piccolo story many fans want and theorized him to be the villain to beat. But this is probably not the Cell they though they would get for it.
