With Sonic Frontiers we were told there would be reason given as to how Sonic and the others wound up on the star islands. This would be in the form of anime or comic. Today the anime was dropped as we have the anime title Prologue Divergence.
The animation focuses on Knuckles as he walks island angle island trying to understand all of its secretes. he discovers new things everyday and today he discovers something interesting that brings him to star island. If the prologue is any indications we will be look ingo the people who made the shrine the Echidna were sworn to protect. Expanding on Sonic lore in a new way much like we will be playing the game in a new way. Check it out.
