With DC studios we have been itching to see who sticks around as James Gun and Steve Safran shape a more connected universe. We thought this would be made clear who would be with James moving people out. At this moment only 3 people are keeping there roles according Gunn Xolo Marideuna, Viola Davis and John Cena. Aka Blue Beetle, Aman Waller and Peace Maker respectfully. As for the rest that Gunn himself has not confirmed they are up in the air. Something he think is okay to be as they decide how thing will go moving forward.
“Nothing is canon until Creature Commandos next year – a sort of aperitif to the DCU – & then a deeper dive into the universe with Superman: Legacy after that. It’s a very human drive to want to understand everything all the time, but I think its okay to be confused on what’s happening in the DCU since no one has seen anything from the DCU yet.” Gunn
This does explain a few things such as Wonder Woman as we keep hearing about Gal Gadot being in then out depending on how you talk too. Her role still being not confirmed yet makes sense as they haven’t it is key to keep in mind that the only DCU cast that has been confirmed or partially is Superman Legacy. That movie cast was revealed. Batman and Wonder Woman movies have not. So we will have to wait to see what those are. Something James Gunn is happen for us to do.
