There is a new rumor about the DC Studios Superman Reboot (Superman Legacy). A new rumor came up that Mxyzptlk might be in the movie. To this Jame Gunn responded on Instagram with phrase “Say my name.”
The phrase came from the idea you had to trick him into saying his name. A sill thing but you must understand this character was a troublemaker. The version we saw on my adventure with Superman was tamed in comparison to him. We saw a guy causing mischief by dragging Clark and the others across the multiverse. Originally when he appeared he would cause all sort of issues just to test Superman because he was board that was the only way out.
Does this mean he will be in the movie? He could be as he usually isn’t the main issue in a story in the long run. Most of the time as he was for a bit when there were 2 Clarks. But he is usually just momentary. As such if Gunn decided to bring him he could still work and not break his word on having characters appeared who made sense instead of just cameos as we have been seeing from comic book movies as of late.
The question is what will he be like if he does appear? We will see as Gunn is teasing him for a reason.
