Jujutsu Kaisen ch 261 is out and I would like to talk about it. This reaction will have spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled then stop now and go check out the chapter online and make sure to support it on Viz Media or Shonen Jump. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
Gojo fell to Sukuna. The fight we all wanted had its solution and it look ed as though the best teacher in JJK was done. Gege has brought him back but not in the way we were expecting. Gojo is standing but not under his own control. This was freaky to me to see as when I read it I was wondering who was in control as yes Kenjaku is dead but one never knows. Who is piloting Gojo?
It looks like Yuta is in control. Makes sense but it was odd as I wonder why this way. When it came to Yuta cursed technique I figured he would just take his eyes and use. I mean when we saw his ability used in the culling game he used tongue to replicate cursed speech. The thing is it seems Gojo eyes are to complicated as they are a physical attribute Yuta can’t copy and thus he has to resort to using Kenjaku technique in order to use his deer mentor power. An enemy ability who they are guessing a lot about. Keep mind through out the series we are shown the many bodies Kenjaku has used over the years though how he got them was unclear. So this jutsu does leaves some questions to answer.
Gojo return was a big thing for the fan base as they missed the character. So when he finally broke out of the hell prison it was a big thing. Especially when it was against Sukuna. The question posed earlier finally settled. I brough up hell prison as it seems reminded me of it. We still need Gojo. Okay so I need to use his power and we learn that it won’t be that simple. This time one of there lives is at stake but it is working. One does what one can.
But of course there is Gojo. Yuta isn’t like Kenjaku and would at least like to have the person permission. Besides being hurt the school nurse is so okay with it Gojo says try it out. Gojo has always been about setting up the next generation to be better than the last. It is one of the reason why his students like him so much. This is not only mentally but with there abilities. So if Yuta has to in the possibility use his body do so. Though he is hightlightning on thing that Yuta curse energy control might be an issue.
We wanted a rematch with these as Sukuna just fighting Gojo withe Megumi abilities didn’t quit scratch the itch we had with seeing this boat. That said can Yuta use Gojo ability to the extent he would be an issu to Sukuna. We will have to see.
The chapter was cool as we didn’t get both Yuta and Gojo coming back to the fight. We did so in a unique way. It is funny how despite the deep battle Sukuna was having with Yuji he just smacks him away as he stares down this Yuta controlled Gojo. Despite how annoying Yuji has been to him Sukuna still wants to deal with a powerful opponent first. I think we also got to see how things were before Gojo wrecks the elites who put a hit out on Yuji following Shibuya. Plus I am interested to see how well Yuta will be able to use 2 special grade sorceress abilities. Cool.
