Blue Beetle news as an animated series has been announced. The series will follow the events of the 2023 live action movie. It is not official announced by DC but the report comes This has brought a question to life as they wondering if the original blue beetles will appear in the anime.
To explain Jaime Reyes is the most recent one. There are 2 prior ones. Most of the time mentioned in past tense. Them being Ted Kord and Dan Garrett. Dan Garrett was the original fighting villains with a bullet suit with the blue beetle mart on the back. Ted Kord fought carrying his spirit with him using blue beetle themed weapons. Reyes is the only one who has had the suit as an high tech weapon in the manner we have seen. The movie hinted at Ted being alive. One of the easter eggs in the movies that fans of the mechanized suit warrior hope is expanded in this animation.
We will have to see as again we don’t have official confirmation yet. As such details are still not clear. But If I hear more I will let you know.
