Final Fantasy 9 news. Recently at the Final Fantasy XIV live letter Yoshi P talked about the Final Fantasy 9 remake rumor. This came up as a fan asked him about it. He said he isn’t making it. But if he did he would not make an action game.
“f we were remaking FF9 people would complain we’d turn it into an action game! But I’d make it turn-based.” Yoshi P
We have been seeing remarks saying Final Fantasy 9 remake is a thing as leaks keep happening saying it is planned. It can still be as Yoshi-P mainly says he is not working on the project. That being the case we have been hearing this thing about the remake being a turn base game. Something long time fans wanted from FFVII remake trilogy. Many rumors said it would be turn based.
Key word is rumors here. Nothing official has been said about FF9 remake being a thing. Just leaks and rumors saying it is in existence. If we do hear anything I will let you know. You can see the live stream below if you have not seen it.
