One Piece news as learn about more of the cast. Smoker, Tashigi, Wpol and Dalton have ben reveled. You can see the actors there names blow
- Smoker played by Callum Kerr (Hollyoaks)
- Tashigi played by Julia Rehwald (Fear Street)
- Wapol played by Rob Colletti (The Many Saints of Newark)
- Dalton played by Ty Keogh (Still Breathing)
For those hoping for Dany Divito as Wapol it seems that is not happening. But lets walk through these characters. Smoker is introduced to Luffy as he is about to get into the grand line. A lugia who was shown to be a wall to Luffy as he has no way to face him. Tashigi is his 2nd. The marine swordswoman calls back to Zoro memories but alas is not the same person. Both of them would become big elements as they would persue the straw hats through the series following there meeting. Thus why it was a big deal for Netflix to leave that teaser for season 2 with smoker.
Wapol is a different. An evil king the man turned to piracy after his kingdom fell on hard times. Dalton once one of his loyal men is one of them who doesn’t want him to every regain the position. Many fans were hoping for Danny Divito seeing the actor being capable of doing the role justice. But seems we will be seeing how Rob Colletti will handle it. Hopefully he can make the zany villain live up the image we have from the other mediums.
